Vestal Kaszebe 2009

Vestal Kaszebe 2009 Bottling Note

This is the 2009 vintage Vestal Kaszebe, produced in Poland with Vineta potatoes grown in the Kaszebe region using a single distillation. The astounding artisan distillers take great pride in the terroir that the potatoes they use are grown in, and the sandy soils of Kaszebe are just the ticket for this fine drink.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Milk chocolate coins. Yes, the coins you get at Christmas, it's just like those! This is paired with vanilla ice cream and potato skins.

Palate: Grassy and creamy. More milk chocolate, soft and sweet, with liquorice and pear hiding underneath.

Finish: Long and slightly herbal.

Overall: Definitely quite different from the 2013 vintage, but equally as entertaining.
