I guess everyone's taste buds are different but I can't drink this stuff without plenty of coke, which defeats the object. If you have to add a mixer you might as well by cheap supermarket rum. Very dissapointed. I've tried a few rums from here and most have been very good (Santa Teresa 1796 for instance. Not spiced but very drinkable) Each to their own I guess. Maybe mine was a bad batch. Not willing to spend more money on it to find out.

Wow! I usually 'Pirate' with CM spiced and a whole can of Pepsi max and a dash of lime, but with this it's beautiful on it's own with a splash of ginger ale, no ice needed. I've never used ginger ale before so I bought Schweppes for a starter, I'll experiment with better ones in the future
I got this randomly at the airport in St Lucia and it has become one of my favourite drinks!
This is one of the best spiced rums I've ever tasted. It's a great rum to drink neat and it goes perfect with ginger ale. You'll struggle to find a better spiced rum full stop, but certainly for this price.
