Rhum agricole from Habitation Saint-Étienne, which has enjoyed a finishing period of 6 months in casks that previously held Fino and Oloroso Sherry - which has had quite an impact on the spirit's hue and flavour profile.
Nutty at first with sweet almond and sugared pecans, before diving into juicy plum and prune, with softly simmering exotic spices in the background.
