A darker style of mead from the Island of Lindisfarne, made using honey, fermented grape juice, neutral spirits and locally sourced water.
Sweet and creamy, with the roundness of the honey remaining.

Purchased for an Aussie friend. He said he felt truly spoilt
Exactly what the title says. Couldn't tell this apart from a cheap bottle of sweet sherry. Save your money and buy something else.
I drunk this at the beach and got followed by a bee for about ten miles. I’ve had to hide in a telephone box until he goes away which will be in 5 hours time when it’s sunset. But it’s ok I guess coz I’ve got this lovely bottle of mead with me. Cheers.
Tried it for the first time last night to celebrate Beltane and loved it
Very nice drink mixed with slim line lemonade, very refreshing
