Purchased for an Aussie friend. He said he felt truly spoilt

Tastes like Aldi sherry, but thrice the price!
Exactly what the title says. Couldn't tell this apart from a cheap bottle of sweet sherry. Save your money and buy something else.

Bee careful
I drunk this at the beach and got followed by a bee for about ten miles. I’ve had to hide in a telephone box until he goes away which will be in 5 hours time when it’s sunset. But it’s ok I guess coz I’ve got this lovely bottle of mead with me. Cheers.

A Terrible Example of Mead
Terrible by mead standards, I get that it's still a relatively unexplored market due to more popular flavoured wines being out there, but Lindisfarne mead is simply alcoholic fruit juice; the honey tastes synthetic, there are no other flavourings or spices and other meads at the same price tag do much better jobs, such as Moniack or Lyme Bay. Buy either of those other Meads but definitely not Lindisfarne, it's a terrible example of Mead.

Please don't waste your money
I have tried the normal, dark and pink "meads" from Landisfarne and they all taste like cheap grape wine with some sugar/honey preservatives mixed in (just read the ingredients and see). They shouldn't be allowed to trade, complete scam.
