Marie Brizard Creme de Menthe - 1950s

Creme de Menthe - 1950s

This is a really, really old bottle of Marie Brizard Crème de Menthe, dating from the 1950s. That's really old isn't it? This could be nearly 67 years old! It's the kind of crème de menthe that may have been enjoyed in grasshoppers served in the bar of a Zeppelin Airship as it made its stately progress across the Atlantic. If that doesn't bring home just how old this is we don't know what will. This bottle is a real piece of spirit history, and it's in remarkably good condition for its age.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
