Description
This is a bilberry liqueur from Lejay-Lagoute and is an excellent alternative to a kir royale when added to sparkling wine.
Bilberries are cousins to blueberries but have a richer character which really comes across in the liqueur.

Nose
An intense blueberry aroma with baking spice notes behind the curtain.
Palate
Damson and plum fruits leading to softer blueberry notes with a little stem ginger.
Finish
The ginger intensifies on the finish with a lick of bilberry on the tail.
