Edmond Briottet make their superb Triple Sec liqueur with the Laraha fruit - a bittersweet citrus which grows on the Dutch island of Curaçao. Very rich and intensely flavoured. This particular bottling is presented at an approachable 25% ABV, while previous bottlings have been presented at 40% ABV.
Candied orange peel, hints of cardamom and a big whack of lime juice. Almost like Orangina, only slightly tangier.
Love this as it isn’t too sweet and sickly. It makes cocktails taste classy and I love the fact that it’s only 25% proof so I can drink more cocktails and still keep standing.
