Bordeaux Distilling Co. has brought us this intriguing liqueur! Smokehouse Rock & Rye is made with a combination of rye distillate, to which American oak chips and spices (namely black cardamom and anise) are added, as well as rock candy sugar, burnt lemon peel, and fennel seeds. It's a sweet, spicy, herbaceous affair, but at a generous 41.5% ABV it'll certainly hold its own in takes on classic cocktails – we're thinking about making a twist on a Sazerac.
