While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Nice with ginger ale. A good strength compared to that sticky low alcohol Edinburgh sh.te.
Unbalanced and annoying. Way too sweet, doesn't taste like gin, it's more like a flavored vodka. Disappointed.
Not very rhubarb and ginger
I like the flavour most certainly, but how can you call it a Gin? Gin must have a predominence of Juniper in it to qualify I feel. Blessed with a good set of taste buds but I do not taste Juniper
What a disappointment, couldn’t smell or taste the rhubarb, ginger hardly there. Waste of money. Disappointed.
