Here we have Veterans Gin from Hooting Owl! This boasts the same 14 botanical recipe as the Signature Gin from the Yorkshire distillery, though this one has seen three months of ageing before bottling, to marry and mellow the spirit. No wonder why, as it's also bottled at the slightly higher strength of 48% ABV!
Waves of spice roll over the palate, tempered by clean, crisp notes of tart and sweet orange citrus, fragrant lime and piney juniper, with an earthy, sweet finish.
