Bloom Jasmine & Rose was created by master distiller Joanne Moore using naturally extracted flower botanicals, making it the ideal tipple of choice for an English summer day. It was bottled at 40% ABV with no artificial flavourings, and it comes presented in the same bottle as the original Bloom gin, only the colour palette reflects the floral flavours of the gin.
A refined floral and earthy fragrance - elderflower and jasmine adds an extra dimension to this pink gin.
I really like a G&T, but this is the only gin I really don't want to drink. I usually like to taste my gin so I don't overpower with the tonic, but with this gin I've tried varying amounts of tonic with it, and whilst watering it down does improve it a little, I still don't want to finish my drink because of the chemical taste. No thanks Bloom, not for me.
As a seasoned gin and tonic drinker I was very impressed by the look of this bottle of gin. However, it is the MOST DISGUSTING GIN I HAVE EVER TASTED ? Bitter with absolutely no taste of rose or jasmine - how on earth has this won awards?
Maybe my sense of smell is unsofisticated. But here are my impressions: - barely any Jasmine or Rose smell. - strong smell and taste of fusel oil. The only fancy thing about it is bottle and name. The rest is cheaply distilled alcohol. For $30/bottle this is a robbery
Worst gin iv ever tasted! The rose taste is far too over powering. Iv tried this with many different mixers and it's just not a nice gin. Iv also let a few friends try it as I didn't want to waste it and I honestly couldn't give it away.
I have to disagree with the negative reviews. This is one of my favourite gins and I have tried many! It’s delicious and fragrant tasting, guess it all depends on individual taste! It’s nice with hibiscus, plain, elderflower, and rhubarb tonics, also with fentimens roseè lemonade, lucozade zero pink lemonade and regular lemonade.
