Back with a third batch, it's the splendid Gin Rummy barrel-aged gin from Batch! This expression uses a base of Batch's Industrial Strength Gin, distilled with pear. The gin is then aged in casks that previously held Batch PX Sherry Cask Rum, imparting wonderfully sweet, rich oak notes that will work exceedingly well mixed with cola, or for a characterful G&T.
Soft, fresh wafts of pear with floral, orchard sweetness, chewy liquorice and juniper rest beneath sweet sultanas and rich, toasted oak, finishing up with bold, peppery warmth.
