Be careful - at 55%, Batch Industrial Strength Gin is a real beast. It's made in Burnley, Lancashire, and the label is a tribute to the industrial heritage of the town. The woman on the bottle looks like one of the those aircraft builders from the 1940s, but we would not recommend attempting to build a Spitfire after a couple of these. It's not just about sheer alcoholic strength though, this is quality product with a heavy focus on juniper.
Oily juniper with more than a touch of peppery heat to it, complemented by wafts of citrus blossom.

This gin is simply the most stunning I've ever tasted! Even at 55%, it's ridiculously smooth neat but really stands out in a G&T. I garnished it with dried apricot and a basil leaf but it worked equally well with a simple slice of lime. This gin won 'Best Gin' at this year's prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Wow!
