Hailing from Oxford, Abingdon Gin is the brainchild of a couple distilling duo, marrying cardamom and fennel alongside other traditional botanicals. Whack this one in a G&T with a good wedge of pink grapefruit!
Peppery juniper and cardamom spice sit alongside floral citrus and distinctive fennel.
Very impressed with this gin. I find it hard to find a quality gin that pairs nicely with a tonic so I was plesently suprised with the taste of this. The notes of citrus really make this a refreshing drink with no lingering after taste. The packaging is beautiful and looks great on my shelf. I will definitely be buying some bottles to gift to my gin loving friends.
I really liked this gin after being recommended it from a friend at work. The juniper and citrus notes are really prominent and the hint of anise from the fennel does add a nice light sweet finish to the gin. Very well enjoyed with some friends!
