Abingdon Gin

Located in the historic town of Abingdon-on-Thames, the Abingdon Gin Distillery places a strong emphasis on sourcing local botanicals and creating gin at a small scale of no more than 130 bottles at a time to ensure the spirit is of the highest quality.

Despite being located in one of the oldest towns in the UK (it was founded in 676 and claims to be the country's oldest inhabited town), the idea for Abingdon Gin was conceived in Hong Kong some years ago by owner and distiller Jordan Morris whilst working abroad. The lack of quality gins out there fuelled a bit of an experimental phase where he began dabbling in distilling and by 2018 he decided to setup shop in Abingdon-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. After more than 50 batches were trialled, Morris settled on a recipe that is now the signature London Dry gin you can enjoy today!

All of the spirits that Abingdon makes, including its Wild Oxen rum range, are produced two beautiful copper stills, Jenny & Angela, handmade to spec in Portugal and with a distilling capacity of 100L between them. The gins are distilled using the ‘one shot’ method, with only purified water added post distillation and Abingdon don't use concentrates, artificial colours or flavourings.
