Aberlour 23 Year Old June 1992 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 51.1%

Tasting Note for Aberlour 23 Year Old June 1992 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Apple peel, pink peppercorn and cinnamon. This develops into freshly baked brioche and some dusty old oak furniture.
Palate: Very zesty with orange and grapefruit at first. Slowly develops chocolatey notes – spoonfuls of dark chocolate mousse on the mid-palate.
Finish: Digestive biscuit and a few scoops of apple crumble.

Aberlour 23 Year Old

Aberlour 23 Year Old September 1992 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 53%

Tasting Note for Aberlour 23 Year Old September 1992 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Caramel-forward, along with a touch of dark chocolate at its core. Ripe pear, redcurrant jam and blackberry leaf all play their part in the background.
Palate: Peanut brittle, apple and butter popcorn. Soon enough, there’s big notes of hot cross bun with loads of sultanas thrown in the dough.
Finish: A long, buttery finish.

Ardbeg 12 Year Old

Ardbeg 12 Year Old 2003 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 52%

Tasting Note for Ardbeg 12 Year Old 2003 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Toasted barley, smoked meats, burnt sugar and a sweeter hint of pineapple. Robust cooking spices develop after a minute (which goes well with the smoked meat notes).
Palate: Citrus gives it a sweetness up front. This is followed by honey-roasted pistachio and medicinal peat, with a little bit of sweet coastal air.
Finish: Still shows off coastal sweetness, alongside pear, apple, and a touch of white chocolate.

Bunnahabhain 33 Year Old

Bunnahabhain 33 Year Old 1982 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 48.6%

Tasting Note for Bunnahabhain 33 Year Old 1982 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Two scoops of salted caramel ice cream and a scoop of mint-choc-chip too. Pithy orange, rye warmth and a hint of rock pools.
Palate: Continues to be packed with rye and caramel, with heaps of fresh orange behind it. Notes of old leather and oak follow it up.
Finish: Orchard fruit lasts, with touches of sweet coffee too.

Benrinnes 18 Year Old

Benrinnes 18 Year Old 1997 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 58.4%

Tasting Note for Benrinnes 18 Year Old 1997 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Rich in apple notes, with a touch of cloudy apple cider too. Summer berry tart with a digestive biscuit base. Hints of rhubarb and honey.
Palate: Toasted bread, marmalade, cherry and sugar covered almond. Malty vanilla develops a little later on.
Finish: Fizzy apple laces and Mars Bars.

Speyside 18 Year Old

Speyside 18 Year Old 1997 – Single Cask (Master of Malt) – 56.1%

Tasting Note for Speyside 18 Year Old 1997 – Single Cask (Master of Malt):
Nose: Ground coffee, meaty malt and blackberry coulis. Water brings out some fragrant vanilla sweetness.
