Gimbletts Gravels in New Zealand produces some superlative syrah in a peppery, fragrant Northern Rhone-style. So it's not so much of a surprise that it also producers excellent Rhone-esque white wines like this marsanne/ viognier blend. It's a rich, round wine that would particularly suit roast shoulder of pork especially if you've got some apples involved somewhere.
Fresh lemon and lemon rind with richer notes of almond, hazelnut and honey with a long creamy finish.
