Furmint is the grape responsible for the incredible sweet wines of Tokaji but it's now increasingly seen in high quality dry white wines. The ace that this fine grape has up its sleeve is acidity and freshness even in quite rich wines like this one. This would be excellent with spicy Thai or Vietnamese food.
Massive zestiness on the nose with lemons, limes and apples. The palate shows the majesty of furmint with a waxy apple skin texture balanced by a mouth-watering charge of acidity.
