
Margaret River in Western Australia has made Bordeaux-style whites something of a speciality. This is a blend of semillon and sauvignon blanc, fermented in a mixture of used oak barrels and stainless steel to produce a complex, textured wine that should age for at least five years. That said, it's pretty irresistible now especially with fish dishes.
Peach and lemon fruit with creamy vanilla, orange rind and a subtle smokiness on the finish.
