This elegant bottle comes from Austria's oldest sparkling wine producer, don't you know! Schlumberger was founded back in 1842, which is where the name of this Cuvée 1842 Reserve comes from. It's made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in lower Austria, aged for at least 30 months on its lees. We're sure this'll be brilliant simply as an aperitif, though if you're pairing it with food then mushroom dishes would be a great choice.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
