Description

A proper old-school Pineau from Rémi Landier, built on Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, then left to mature for decades in oak. This creates something you rarely see from Pineau, giving it a rich, marmalade-laced quality with a floral lift that keeps it from getting heavy.

Nose

Orange marmalade, cranberry, rose petal, and soft spice with a hint of aged wood.

Palate

Candied citrus, red fruit, and honeyed sweetness, balanced by gentle tannin and oak.

Finish

Dried fruit, floral notes, and a subtle spice.
