An excellent 2018 Chardonnay here from New Zealand's Pyramid Valley, released as part of its Botanical Collection. The name comes from the dominant meadow plant growing in the specific vineyard where these Chardonnay grapes came from (planted by founders Claudia and Mike Weersing). This one is named after a different name for dandelions (though it still incorporates lions, which we appreciate as fans of the animal and the chocolate bar).
Mineral-rich and flinty at first, though soon enough a rush of fresh nectarine and apricot bring juicy sweetness to the table.

Once reading the play "Death Of A Salesman", I thought about the alcohol they described and I could not find anything like Pyramid Valley Lion's Tooth Chardonnay. From the first sip, I remembered reading at https://studydriver.com/death-of-a-salesman-essay/ Death Of A Salesman essay and this play brought me back to life with each new page. I am glad that there are pages that describe the origin of things and everything we read in the books becomes true.
