Argentina is best known for its cabernet but this Latin American country is pretty handy with cabernet too. The grapes for La Flor came from the Finca La Zulema vineyard. The grapes were picked by hand and fermented in concrete using wild yeasts before ageing in used oak barrels. The emphasis is very much on fragrance and freshness rather than heavy oak flavour. It's just the kind of cabernet that will appeal to Bordeaux lovers especially with a leg of lamb.
Ripe blackcurrants on the nose with aromatic violet notes. Fresh on the palate with dark fruit, ripe tannins and a perfumed finish.
