Here's an unusual wine, a chardonnay from top Barolo producer, Pio Cesare. It turns out that this Burgundian grape thrives in Piedmont, making some seriously elegant wines. L'Altro means 'the other' in Italian, this is the second tier chardonnay from Pio Cesare, you're getting a lot of wine for your money.
Intense citrus fruit on the palate, lovely fruit, clean and then full bodied and creamy on the finish. Still youthful and vibrant.
