Delicious 100% cabernet franc from Chinon in the Loire Valley in France. If you like reds with lots of character but in a lighter style then Chinon is your friend. Grosbois is the producer and this cuvee, Cuisine de ma Mere, is inspired by his mother's cooking. Apt because this is a gastronomic wine par excellence. Cab franc's crunchy acidity makes it the perfect foil to fatty dishes like cassoulet, sausages and pork chops.
