For some dishes only a big rich oaky-tinged Chardonnay will do, and nobody does them bigger and richer than California. This is made in the Sonoma Coast region and combines weight with freshness. This might have something to do with the subtle use of oak, it's all French but only 35% new barrels, so it doesn't smother the fruit. Truly a wine for special occasions.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose combines fresh apple and pear with cooked apple pie spiced with cinnamon aromas. It's rich and round on the palate with nutty and vanilla notes from the oak.
