This is the second wine of one of the best Chateaux in St. Estephe which means much of the magic of the big brother but with two advantages: 1) It's a lot cheaper. 2) You don't have to keep it for ten years before you can drink it. This is a blend of 55% merlot and 45% cabernet sauvignon. 2018 was a great vintage so you're guaranteed ripe fruit and tannins. Nevertheless, we'd recommend decanting and serving with some suitably hearty food.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Ripe blackcurrants with dark chocolate, baking spices and vanilla. Smooth ripe tannins with a violet perfume.
