Macon-Villages Jules Du Souzy 2018
The Maconnais is the southern bit of Burgundy that traditionally made cheaper wines than the fancier Côte-d'Or. Cheaper, however, doesn't necessarily mean lower quality as this wine proves. It's made from 100% chardonnay in a lean, crisp style that will appeal to lovers of Chablis. Bring on the shellfish! Or if failing that some goat's cheese.

Crisp appley fruit with some grassy notes, a refreshing saline edge and a creamy finish.
