This 2020 vintage from the Lyrarakis family, who saved the Dafni grape variety from extinction, has been planted in the Psaraades family vineyard at 480m altitude in central Crete. The etymology originates from the Bay Leaf tree – the Laurel – which is called 'Dafni' in Greek due to the wine from the grapes sharing the same herbal aroma as its leaves.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Refreshing, herbal and intense with a hint of citrus in the background. A distinctive wine with a subtly aromatic finish.
