Lyme Bay winery is based in Devon but the team buys in a lot of fruit from Essex, Kent and Herefordshire which is where the Bacchus here comes from. Bacchus was originally a German grape - a cross of Riesling and Sylvaner - but it has found a home from home in England making one of this country's trademark wine styles.
