It's the 2016 vintage Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from La Salette, made with a combination of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina, Oseleta and Dindarella grapes from Valpolicella Classica vineyards. It spent an impressive 30 months in oak casks before resting in bottles for a further six months in bottles, and it should cellar very well indeed. Pair with pasta dishes, or some grilled meats.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Dark chocolate mousse, new leather, a slow build of raspberry and blueberry, forest floor earthiness.
