Lamont Pinot Noir 2013
Central Otago is the most southerly wine producing region in the world, and is the source of fantastic expressions of both Riesling and Pinot Noir, both grapes which enjoy (if grapes are capable of enjoyment, which frankly, we're hoping they're not - otherwise wine making is plain cruel) warm days and cool evenings. Lamont is a husband and wife run affair, all sourced from single vineyards and working organically since 2009.

A powerful and concentrated style of Pinot Noir, with ripe plum and blueberry characters, softened by wild herbs and a touch of earthiness. Great with roasted and grilled meats, fish and ripe cheeses.
