Jean-Baptiste Thibault La Duchesne Sancerre 2019
Long before there was New Zealand or Chilean sauvignon blanc, there was Sancerre. This region in the Loire in France still produces the world's finest expression of this grape, arguably. What is inarguable is the style is quite different to New Zealand, being leaner, less opulent and often with a saline quality making it one of the best wines to have with seafood.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Lemon, nettle, touch of blackcurrant on the nose. Lively and prickly on the palate with a creamy saline finish.
