Isabel Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021
This 2021 vintage Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand's Isabel Estate, located in the Wairau Valley of Marlborough. Produced from grapes harvested from the winery's old vines located at the southwest corner of the estate. A small portion is aged in French oak barrels, imparting a wonderfully creamy texture. Zesty, fresh, with a gentle minerality, this should pair very nicely with shellfish.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Light wafts of tropical fruits with hints of lychee and passion fruit, some zesty notes of grapefruit balance chalky minerality, with a creamy richness bringing it all together.
