The 2020 vintage of Guy Allion's Les Parcs Pinot Noir is a fruit-forward French red from Touraine in the Loire. The grapes come from clay and limestone rich vineyards on south-west facing slopes. A good while spent maturing in oak has allowed for a touch of warming spice to develop underneath the red berry boldness. Will pair brilliantly with red meat, or strong cheese.
Raspberry, fresh strawberry, and a hint of liquorice with a little spice that comes from oak ageing. Refreshing and juicy.
