This is made from 100% agiorgitiko (a grape that means St. George) - one of Greece's top red grape varieties - grown in Nemea, in the north of the Peloponnese. This is a sturdier, more structured wine than the Notios label from Gaia Estate. It would be very handy with roast lamb served pink with lots of garlic and rosemary.
