Exquisite red wine from Austria's Eschenhof Holzer, produced with the 2019 harvest of Zweigelt grapes, grown in the Wagram region. After fermentation, the wine is divided with 60% filled into steel tanks and 40% filled into wooden barrels, for 18-24 months, before it is finally bottled. With a tangy, gently acidic fruity profile, it ought to make a great bottle to enjoy with Asian cuisine.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Tangy cherries, delicate strawberries, and crisp red fruits. Drying wafts of earthen oak are lifted by soft raspberries and prickles of peppery dark chocolate.
