Hailing from the Côte De Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune region in Burgundy, France, this wine from Domaine Tollot-Beaut is made using 100% Pinot Noir grapes, and it's a sterling example of the wine produced by the villages of this region. It was aged for around 18 months in oak, only a small proportion of which was new. This magnificently bold, fruity red should pair well with game dishes, perhaps accompanied by mushrooms or truffles!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Juicy, vibrant, red forest fruits countered by soft acidity, hints of truffle and oak combined by well balanced tannins.
