Domaine Les Chenevières Macon-Villages Chardonnay 2018
If you can't decide what to order in a restaurant, order a bottle of Macon. This region in the south of Burgundy produces chardonnays that are not only good value but taste great with everything. Well, almost anything, not sticky toffee pudding, but chicken, ham, fish, cheese, courgette, this wine can do it all. 2018 was a great vintage in Burgundy and a few years down the line this has rounded out but it's still full of fruit.

Lemon, lime and bruised apple with a creamy texture, vanilla and a little almond on the finish.
