Here we have a 2023 vintage Chablis, produced by the Nathalie et Gilles Fèvre domaine with chardonnay grapes harvested from vines between 15 and 25 years old! The vines are grown on Kimmeridgian limestone which is unique to the region, giving the otherwise fruity wine a solid mineral undertone. Always a winner with shellfish.
Nectarine and ripe pear, with some lemon citrus in there alongside chalking mineral notes.
