The Jura is the region over the Vosges mountains from Burgundy, right next to Switzerland. It used to be a rather forgotten about corner of France but in the past 10 years or so its wines have become incredibly fashionable with commensurate upsurge in prices. So to find a nice chardonnay like this from a great producer in the region is quite a find. Try this with richer seafood and chicken dishes.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Clean and fresh, lots of green apple and peach with subtle oaky notes. A great introduction to Jura wines.
