There are now many challengers, but Cloudy Bay is always a contender for New Zealand's finest sauvignon blanc. Also, unlike most wines made from this grape, this will improve in the bottle. Try it with goat's cheese or a Greek salad.
Green pepper and pink grapefruit on the nose. In the mouth more grapefruit with lemon, grassy notes, and a long creamy finish.
