Cloudy Bay is New Zealand's most famous brand. It's been at the forefront of the country's transition from viticultural backwater to producer of some of the finest white wines in the world. There are now many challengers but Cloudy Bay is always a contender for New Zealand's finest sauvignon blanc. It's better than ever now especially if you like a wine that's elegant rather than brash. Also unlike most wines made from this grape, this will improve in the bottle. Try it with goat's cheese or a Greek salad.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Green pepper and pink grapefruit on the nose. In the mouth more grapefruit with lemon, grassy notes, and a long creamy finish.
