Cahors galore! Another top wine from Clos La Coutale made with grapes from Cahors, the original home of malbec, or cot as its known locally. A core of malbec is supported by touches of merlot, and the wine was aged first in oak foudres, and then in ex-Bordeaux barrels. Brilliant with rich meat stews.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Heaps of bramble fruit, with blackberry and cranberry followed by subtle vanilla, ripe plum and earthy undertones.
