Second wines are a great way to enjoy a taste of Bordeaux fanciness without spending lots of pounds, euros or lira. It comes from Chateau Siran in Margaux, that bit of the Medoc that's known for its fragrant, elegant wines. The blend is heavy on the Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon with around 15% new oak so you're not going to get a mouthful of wood. 2019 was a great vintage so though you can drink this now, it'll improve for a good ten years at least.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Ripe cassis with mulchy forest floor, violets and cloves. Ripe tannins, fragrant, fruity and long on the palate.
