Gensac is famous for its Armagnac but like many producers in the region has turned, with great success, to wine as the market for brandy has declined. This is made from sauvignon gris (like sauvignon blanc but with pink skin), semillon and colombard. It's very clean and fresh and would be delightful with a goat's cheese tart.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Peach, lime, orange and a dash of green pepper. Fresh and zingy with a slight creaminess on the finish.
