Boom Boom! is back, and this is the 2018 vintage of the Syrah from Charles Smith. While Syrah is the main event, a smidge of Viognier and Grenache make an appearance in the background. An earthy and spicy wine that lives up to its name, and a fabulous pairing with saucy grilled meat.
Dark cherry and bramble fruit, with allspice, a pinch of tobacco and tart berries alongside a pinch of dried herbs.
