Description
The cru of Gigondas produces some of the freshest and best-value wines in the Rhone value. This is made by the great merchant house of Chapoutier. It's a blend of 60% grenache, 30% syrah and 10% mourvèdre which is aged for around a year in old oak casks. The result is something that while burly and muscular is also fresh and surprisingly graceful. This would be great with all kinds of lamb dishes.

Ripe red fruit on the palate like raspberry with peppery spicy notes, soft tannins, leather and fresh herbal aromas.
