It's the 2019 vintage Kit's Coty Chardonnay from the wonderful Chapel Down winery! The multi-award-winning wine is produced from Chardonnay grapes harvested in the 95-acre Kit's Coty vineyard on the North Downs of Kent. The grapes are whole bunch pressed before undergoing wild fermentation in old oak barrels, meaning there's a few buttery, toasty hints to the otherwise fresh, fruity wine. If you're feeling particularly fancy, the winery suggests pairing this one with scallops.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Bright peach and tropical fruit, with hints of buttery oak and toasted nuts bringing depth.
